Martine in Paris - Promenades
Third and last round of Monopoly Board ...
The dice are rolling .. and are defining the walk. Though sounding a bit crazy, it is has some fun and offers new interesting strolls. As the third round is quite long, I have divided it into three parts:
The first part starts from rue Lafayette and meanders a bit before reaching boulevard de Belleville. I have to tell you that this meandering is mainly due to three cheats. Before heading straight east, I have to stop at Place Pigalle. Then I go to Gare du Nord. From there we cross the 10th arrondissement along the rue de Paradis to the Canal Saint-Martin.
The second part finally reaches boulevard de Belleville, within the borders of the 11th arrondissement, knowing that Belleville is mainly located within the 19th and 20th arrondissement. Via rue Oberkampf, we then reach Avenue de la République to head up to Boulevard de Villette.
From Place du Colonel Fabien we walk down to the Bastille along the Canal Saint-Martin.
The last part starts at the Bastille, from where we walk to the Gare de Lyon. Then we cross the Seine and enter the Jardin des Plantes. We continue towards Luxembourg as far as the Boulevard Saint-Michel. We then head towards the Observatoire to reach Boulevard Arago, where our final stop is the Prison de la Santé !
